78th Street Studios is the largest art and design complex in Northeast Ohio — 170,000 square feet of galleries, artist studios, and five unique event venues housed in a building originally constructed in 1905 for the Baker Electric Motor Vehicle Company. The bones of that history are visible everywhere: exposed brick, concrete floors, industrial columns, soaring ceilings. No venue in Cleveland photographs like this one.
Five spaces give couples genuine choice. smARTspace holds 400+ for a ceremony and 300 for a seated reception. RAMP Level is darker and more dramatic, ideal for cocktail hours adjacent to the Pinball Lounge. HEDGE Gallery offers 3,500 square feet of wood floors and natural light. Suite 215 Gallery is intimate at 2,950 square feet with hardwood and industrial windows. The Pinball Lounge handles micro weddings and cocktail receptions up to 29.
The venue has won Cleveland's Best Indoor Wedding Venue for 2021, 2022, and 2023 — not by accident. We travel here regularly and know the spaces, the light conditions, and the morning logistics inside out.

Industrial venues are some of our favorites to work in — the light is interesting, the architecture is dramatic, and the spaces give us room to set up properly. Here's what we know about mornings at 78th Street Studios.
- 01Getting-ready space requires planningUnlike estate venues or hotels, 78th Street Studios doesn't have a dedicated bridal suite. We coordinate with your venue contact in advance to identify the best available prep space and arrive set up for wherever we're working.
- 02Industrial light is differentIndustrial buildings have windows in interesting places — some generous with natural light, others more limited. We do a light assessment on arrival and supplement with our portable kit as needed. We don't rely on the building's lighting for our work.
- 0330 minutes from CopleyThe Gordon Square Arts District is about 30 minutes from our studio on Cleveland's west side. We account for this in every booking and always arrive ahead of the contracted start.
- 04BYOB venue means a longer setup windowYour caterer and bar team are arriving with equipment on the same morning. We coordinate our setup to stay out of the service team's way while keeping the prep area functional and focused.
