About the work

Erica trained as a fine artist before she ever picked up a tattoo machine.

That background shows. Her approach to tattooing is the same as her approach to any art form: start with a concept, develop it deliberately, and execute it with technical precision.

She doesn't offer flash sheets or same-day walk-in bookings. Every tattoo at MAVON starts with a conversation about what you want, why you want it, and how to make it look right on your specific body — now and in twenty years.

The result is work that holds up. Technically and artistically.

What Erica does

Style & Specialties

Fine Line & Delicate

Single-needle and fine line work. Clean, precise, minimal. Ideal for botanical motifs, portraits, small text, and geometric forms.

Illustrative

Hand-drawn quality with depth and texture. Blackwork, stippling, and painterly shading — each piece is drawn from scratch.

Botanical & Floral

Erica's specialty. Wildflowers, vines, and organic forms rendered with an artist's eye — never generic clip art.

Portraits & Figures

Fine art portraiture, figure studies, and sentimental subjects. Erica's background in fine art informs every face she tattoos.

Abstract & Conceptual

Non-traditional, thought-through work. Custom concepts developed in collaboration. Not every idea has a reference image.

How it works

01

Inquiry

Submit a contact form with your concept, placement, and any reference you have. You don't need a finished idea — a rough direction is enough to start.

02

Design Consultation

Erica reviews your inquiry and schedules a consultation. She'll develop a custom design, discuss sizing and placement, and answer every question before ink touches skin.

03

Booking & Deposit

Design approval + deposit secures your appointment. The deposit goes toward your total session cost.

04

Your Appointment

Private, one-on-one session in the MAVON studio. No distractions, no rush. Just the work.

Do you do walk-ins or same-day bookings?

No. All tattoo work is custom and by appointment only. This is not a walk-in shop.

How far out are you booked?

Typically 4–8 weeks. Reach out early — heavily custom pieces may take longer to design.

What's your rate?

Quoted per piece after consultation. Pricing reflects custom design time and session length.

Can I get tattooed and have my hair done the same day?

With scheduling, yes. MAVON is a full studio — we can build a day for you.

Ready to start your piece?

Tell Erica what you're thinking. The more detail you give, the better the design conversation goes.
