A 1910 French Gothic mansion in University Circle, Cleveland. Sixty luxury guest rooms, spectacular gardens, and suites designed for full bridal party preparation. Intimate, historic, and camera-ready from every corner.

“One of the most photographed wedding venues in Cleveland — and every corner earns it.”
The Glidden House is a French Gothic mansion built in 1910 in Cleveland's University Circle neighborhood — steps from the Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland Botanical Gardens, and Case Western Reserve University. It operates today as a boutique hotel and one of the most sought-after intimate wedding venues in the city.
The property's Juniper Room — a 2,600-square-foot indoor event space with a grand chandelier, French doors, and windows on all four sides — accommodates up to 150 guests. The gardens and original gazebo make for an outdoor ceremony setting that photographs at a level well above most Cleveland venues.
For bridal preparation, the hotel's suites are genuinely spacious — large enough for multiple hair and makeup artists to work simultaneously, with the kind of thoughtful hotel infrastructure (room service, full lighting, ample mirror placement) that makes a long morning considerably easier.
Glidden House is one of our most frequently requested Cleveland venues. Here's our specific approach to making this intimate, historic property work perfectly for a wedding morning.

Intimate, historic, and walking distance from some of Cleveland's best photography backdrops. Let's build a morning that matches the venue's standard.
